Thinking time for marketers when you’re
stuck in your own head about something at work.

Turn uncertain decisions into clear next steps.

Most marketers don’t struggle because they don’t know what to do.

They struggle because they’re trying to figure it out alone.

So it turns into:

  • Going over it in your head repeatedly

  • Asking a few people and getting mixed answers

  • Second-guessing yourself anyway

  • Or putting off a decision until it feels heavier than it should

And suddenly something small becomes something stuck.

What’s really going on?

It’s rarely a skills issue. It’s a thinking space issue.

Most people don’t need more advice.

They need a way to slow things down, unpack what’s actually happening, and figure out what makes sense next, without noise, pressure, or politics.

That’s what Overthink This With Me is for.

What this is?

This is not coaching.

It’s a simple, focused 1:1 session where we work through something you’re stuck on and turn it into clarity.

  • You bring the situation.

  • We talk it through properly.

  • You leave knowing what to do next.

No jargon. No frameworks for the sake of it. No overcomplication.

Just clear thinking, with someone who understands the context you’re working in.

What we do in an Overthink Session

Get clear on what’s actually going on (not just how it feels)

  • Unpack what’s making the decision hard

  • Strip away noise, assumptions, and overthinking

  • Explore what your options really look like

  • Land on a direction or next step you feel confident about

You don’t leave with more to think about.

You leave with something resolved.

Things people bring to sessions

This space is designed for when you’re thinking things like

“I need to make a call and I keep going back and forth”

“How do I position myself for a promotion properly?”

“I just need someone experienced to sanity-check this with me”

“Should I stay in this role or start looking elsewhere?”

“I don’t know if the issue is me, my role, or my environment”

“Is this strategy actually strong or am I missing something?”

How it works

1. Book a session

Choose a time that works for you.

2. Bring one thing you’re stuck on

It doesn’t need to be perfectly structured.

3. We work through it together

We slow it down, unpack it, and make sense of it.

4. You leave with clarity

A decision, direction, or next step you can actually act on.

About me

Hi! I’m Kate and I’ve spent 16+ years working inside marketing teams across different organisations, industries, and stages of growth.

Most of that time has been right in the middle of it working with teams, leading projects, supporting senior stakeholders, and figuring out how to make things actually land in real environments (not just in strategy decks that look great in a meeting and then quietly fall apart in real life).

I’ve seen how decisions actually get made, how pressure shows up, and how quickly things can become more complicated than they need to be.

Along the way, I’ve also spent a lot of time supporting other marketers usually in the in-between moments. After meetings. On the side of projects. When something feels unclear, slightly messy, or harder than it should be.

Those conversations have always been the same in one way:

Capable people, sitting with something they can’t quite land.

Not because they don’t know enough.
But because they’re trying to think it through in the middle of everything else without a clear space to actually work it out.

It’s a pattern I’ve seen again and again. And if I’m honest, one I recognise in myself too.

I tend to be the person who slows things down, asks the right questions, and helps get to what actually matters without overcomplicating it.

The kind of thinking that cuts through noise, rather than adding to it.

That’s really what sits behind Overthink This With Me.

What it’s like to have Kate (me) in your corner

“I’m so excited more people are going to get to experience what having Kate in your corner feels like.”

“I’ve known Kate for close to a decade now, first as a colleague, but more importantly as someone I’ve stayed connected with through multiple job changes, life changes, and some pretty huge business decisions along the way.

I’m honestly so excited to see Kate turning this into her own business because she is such a natural at it.

Over the years, she’s been the person I’ve called during some of my biggest “what am I doing?” moments and somehow always manages to stop the spiralling, bring me back down to earth, and help me work through things with clear, logical steps and genuinely good advice rooted in real experience.

Kate has this really unique way of being incredibly kind and supportive, while also being direct and blunt with you when you need it most. She tells you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear, and I can honestly say she’s played a huge role in multiple career changes for me.

She was also instrumental in helping me finally take the leap and launch not one, but two of my own businesses. Throughout all of it, she was both a level head and my biggest cheerleader, keeping me grounded while also giving me the confidence to back myself.

I genuinely can’t think of many people better suited to helping others navigate career, leadership, and life decisions, and I’m so excited more people are going to get to experience what having Kate in your corner feels like.”

“She was always available to bounce ideas off, while helping me stay focused when things felt overwhelming”

I was fortunate to work with Kate for over 12 months and, from our first conversation, she was positive, approachable and supportive.

As an Events Coordinator, I worked closely with Kate to develop communications and marketing plans for an inaugural conference. She was always available to bounce ideas off, while helping me stay focused when things felt overwhelming.

Kate is the cheerleader and mentor you never realised you needed, and I’m lucky to now call her a friend.
